Story
Joshua Levenheit was the captain of the Dragon Knights during the time Suikoden 1 took place. The events of Suikoden start some time around Solid 455, so at this time Joshua is already 207 years old. He plays an important role near the end of Suikoden 1 when Yuber summons a horde of monsters from another world. He helps Leknaat send them back using the Dragon rune.
Analysis
At the end of Suikoden 1, He passes the Dragon Rune on to Milia who then becomes commmander of the Dragon Knights. Without the True Rune, it is assumed he passes away. There is no real chance of seeing him in a Suikoden that takes place after Suikoden 1. We could see him again in a prequal but he isn't such a popular character and that may mean Konami will not bring him back. They could have in Suikoden 4 if they really wanted too.
