Story
Crowley is a very powerful magician that appears in Suikoden 1 and is referenced in others. One of the most interesting facts about Crowley is that he had a duel with Mazus in Solis 340 which is 5 years before he is born. Crowley also supposedly has over 100 runes on his body. He is a powerful mage shrouded in mystery and is mentioned in Suikoden 3 by Piccolo and Estella but makes no appearance in the game.

Analysis
At one point in time, I thought it would be very likley that a duel between Crowley and Mazus would occur in a future suikoden but as more and more mysterious mages are are introduced, it seems likley that we will not learn the whole story of all of them. It is still very likley that we will hear from Crowley again but it may not be until the final game.
